Deutschlandpremiere auf der Berlinale für TÁR

After its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival – crowned by the main prize, the Coppa Volpi, for Cate Blanchett – and a cinematic journey around the globe, Todd Field’s six-time Oscar-nominated film TÁR celebrated a return to its roots, the city of Berlin, in February 2023. In the presence of director Todd Field, the lead actors Cate Blanchett, Nina Hoss and Sophie Kauer as well as composer Hildur Guðnadóttir, TÁR celebrated its German premiere in the Berlinale Special series of the Berlin International Film Festival.

The US box office hit is celebrated in Berlin

From Dahomey via Toronto to Berlin… THE WOMAN KING wowed the audience at the Toronto International Film Festival and exceeded all expectations at the U.S. box office hitting No.1 at the release weekend.

Now, on September 27, 2022, THE WOMAN KING was celebrated in Berlin – a couple of days before the official release and in the presence of numerous celebrity guests, including Nikeata Thompson, Thelma Buabeng, Annabelle Mandeng, Chefket, Anika Decker, Tarik Tesfu, Nora Tschirner, Denise M’Baye, Pegah Ferydoni and many more. The screening was initiated by writer and TV & comedy author Jasmina Kuhnke (QuattroMilf) together with actor Jerry Kwarteng and host Dominik Porschen with the support of the movie theater, the UCI Luxe. TV & radio journalist Hadnet Tesfai moderated the evening.

Afterwards, everybody applauded this very important film:  The highly relevant and captivating story, which combines impressive action scenes with an excellent performance by the actors, guarantees an extraordinary cinematic event.

EMMA is nominated for 2 Oscars

EMMA, the exhilarant adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel by director Autumn de Wilde and starring Golden Globe winner Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Queen’s Gambit”) has been nominated for two Academy Awards: Alexandra Byrne for Best Costume Design, Marese Langan, Laura Allen & Claudia Stolze for Best Hair & Make-Up. The awards show will take place on April 25, 2021.
